WCR: Most Ps in place. She finally pooped early this morning. It wasn't big, but she pooped...AND she covered it!!!!! WOW...small miracles! Poor girl hates being stuck in one room, but the alternate is worse, apparently. I brought her out into the living room the other night and all she did was hiss and growl and hiss some more! Ok, back to the bedroom you go! She was such a great snuggler last night. In fact...too good. She kept me up all night. That's the drawback to her being stuck in one room...she's wide awake while I want to sleep.

OT: Well, my family and I are off to Petsmart in search of a new kitten. Emerald Coast Animal Allies has some cuties listed on their website. We'll see if any of them adopt us! (p.s. I'm bring my glucometer and testing any potential kitties!) Wish us luck!

Hi Deborah. Just catching up on your adventures. Going back to the travel day, my kitties rarely pee in the car, even on long trips (unless they pee in the carrier ). They don't usually eat or drink water, either.

I know it's hard keeping them in one room when they're used to ranging all over the house. We have had to do that when we have taken one or more of our kitties to my in-laws'. They sleep all day and then want attention all night! I always try to go up and spend a little time with them several times during the day to keep them happy.

Good luck with the kitten search. Interesting to take your meter and test! Wouldn't have thought of that!
