relieved that his amps was 223 - shot 0.75 however, this morning he won't eat no matter what I have tried to give him - I can't tell if he is feeling poorly or still full from all the food he ate last night - he's congested this am and unfortunately, I have a feeling he is not feeling well I gave him cyproheptadine, ondansteron, cerenia as well as his zyrtec and apoquel so let's hope it kicks in soon
a big thank you to @Doodles & Karen and @Wendy&Neko for their help last night
vines to all other kitties out there, especially those not feeling well

+2 and he's still not eating - meds not working today :arghh: he's not hiding, but he's isn't the slightest bit interested in any food, even when I put a little taste in his mouth :arghh:

+2.5 he's eating a little!!!:joyful:

Glad to hear he's eating Carol. Once nice thing about Levemir is that the onset is later and you do have time to get some food in him. Of course and then there are those surprise cycles. Looks like he's bouncing today from all those beautiful greens. The more time he spends there his body will get use to it and hopefully stop bouncing one day. Some do and some don't. Believe it or now some kitties even run a little higher when their not eating as much:confused: Hopefully the bounce won't last too long but in the meantime looks like he earned less pokies today. :)

Wish I knew what happened last night - not enough insulin going into depot and more than normal being released? He has always had unanticipated responses to Prozinc as well. Hopefully his depot is filling and he will release the insulin in an expected manner. He is eating okay now - meds have kicked in I have to get a haircut around noon so hopefully he won't pull any surprises this afternoon

Please disregard all the typos and weird words in my posts - I have to stop posting from my iPad - between the unwieldy keyboard and autocorrect, who knows what comes out

Honestly I think he cleared a bounce from the greens on 6/28 as last night was the 5th cycle since then. When they clear bounces they tend too come down pretty fast and hard. It's a good thing to note about how long it took for him to see green again! Of course this is just my opinion :)
