I didn't start Eleanor on the Metronidazole, I increased her SEB and her stool issue improved so I'm waiting to see what happens.
She's feeling good.
I'm not doing very well health wise.

It's definitely possible for probiotics to cause diarrhea. The advice I've heard is what you've already tried - to stop it and then restart at a smaller dose and work your way up to more. Glad to hear the Slippery Elm Bark is helping.
