Yesterday

AMPS 213, ketones 0.3, 9lbs 10oz. Still losing weight. Good solid poop in the box last night. However, twice he threw up some very dark brown fluid, which has me a little concerned. But he also has a bit of an appetite back today. Ate some of his breakfast on his own. So as usual with him, couple good things, couple bad things.

Increasing his dose today to 5.5

Good luck on the dosecrease! It's always something though, isn't it? However, the positives today make me happy. I hope he keeps up with the appy and the vomiting is a passing thing.

Good he's back to eating a little; brown liquid vomiting can sometimes point to intestine problem!

Oh Sebastian you poor boy. Glad he is willing to eat and that the poop is good. When Jones gave me the brown liquid vomit it was due to his pancreatitis flaring. It would make him nauseated.

PMPS 101, ketones 0.1, 9lbs 15oz. Gained a little bit of weight and ketones are low. Not sure I like the 101 BG. He's back to not wanting to eat right now so I'm worried about him going much lower than that.

Yeah that's what it seems like it might be. I gave him some bupe a few hours ago but it didn't get him in the mood to eat dinner.

Do you have any cerenia or ondansetron for him? It helps with the nausea and helps getting them to eat.

Wow, he was really a man on a mission today. I'm glad he ate the high carb. No need to hang out with the sharks anymore Sebastian. Back to the lagoon and/or the beach please!
