Eleanor feels good today, she has been dashing around, she is also eating on her own.
I'm hoping the pink is due to her having pooped just before the test - pooping often raises her BG lol.
I'm having a very bad day health wise, could barely haul myself out of bed.

Was going to start using the Carepoint vet syringes, filled one and remembered I cannot get the bubble out no matter what I do.
I guess I'll have to go with the Sure Comfort. Problem with those, well, the main problem, is that very few are correctly marked and it is getting increasingly difficult for me to work with the calipers without getting vertigo focusing my eyes for so long. I know that sounds weird, but it's the way it is. Don't know what to do. Oh well.

I'm glad Eleanor is feeling good. I hope you feel better soon. Sorry about the problem with the syringes. Can you make up a sample syringe with colored liquid to compare to when you draw insulin or is that about the same thing as using the calipers?

Glad to hear she's eating on her own today....it's sure a lot easier on everybody if we don't have to force feed!

How strange that pooping would raise the BG....we usually hear that kitties come down after a good poop!

Sorry you're having such a bad day. I understand how you feel though....after 14 back surgeries, there are days when I'd never get out of bed if it weren't for having to take care of China.

I have trouble with the calipers too
