Yesterday

Harvey is putting in a lot of hours at the lagoon lately. :D Guess he's trying to make up for all those shifts he missed in the spring. My little workaholic. Takes after his daddybean. ;)

For the first time in a while, Harvey was CPC with his t/f/s meal! He ate about half of his breakfast (same food), and continues to nibble on the remainder, with some refreshing done. I did offer another flavor, and he's working on that, too. No tummy meds this morning. :woot: I did give him a capsule of SEB right before I went to bed last night. That didn't help last time I tried it, so this may be a coincidence, but we'll try it again and see . Whatever's making him eat, I'm a happy bean. :)

Another windy day here in Suisun. We describe this area as a wind tunnel - the wind comes up the Sacramento River Delta from the Pacific and sweeps through here, sometimes going all the way to Sac. We are surrounded by hills, so it's kind of funneled through. Most of the trees here lean toward the east, from having winds constantly blowing on them from the west. Usually the wind is cooler than the air temp, and that makes it nice to just open your windows. After several really hot days, this stretch of windy days are most welcome (especially by my checkbook). It's supposed to get hot again next week. :(

I hope all the American peeps are having a wonderful Independence Day.

I'll be glad when the fireworks are over - the whole state is dry as a bone and there are too many idiots setting off the illegal ones. Makes me very :nailbiting:. I'm glad Harvey isn't bothered by the noise.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their bean.s :bighug: Extra strength vines to Amy's DF, and extra hugs to Amy. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Nice numbers! and good job with the CPC, Harvey :) I hope the SEB continues to help, or whatever is working continues.

I don't understand all the fireworks and fireworks tents selling fireworks in California where it's so dry. Here it rains all the time and fireworks are illegal, except for the big organized displays. I think it's supposed to rain tonight too.

I've never understood it, either. Only certain ones are legal here, but there are plenty of people that buy illegal ones elsewhere and set them off. It's a miracle the entire state doesn't go up in flames this time of year, with people setting them off for about a week, starting July 1st.

Harvey got some tri tip from DH, too, which he demolished. That's the end of it, though, until next time we cook one! I didn't even get any today! :(;) Shows where I rate.:p

Way to go, Harvey - making sure that everyone is safe even on a national holiday.

I hope that you will have a quiet night and that everyone stays safe and keeps those fireworks away from the dry grass.

Yeah the fireworks laws sure don't make any sense...it's illegal to set them off here in town, but there are fireworks tents within city limits too.....what kind of crazy is that?

I guess the city values the sales tax off the fireworks more than the peace and quiet a real ban would give us

Yo Harvey! No worries about being the "launch supervisor".....we is in the 21st century now....dey is all wired up! You just has to push da button and dey go ka-BOOM!!

We sure is improving on our tandem surfing.....we be ready for da kitty olympics next time dey are here!!

Thanks for the visits, everyone. Good appy continued right up to, and including PMPS. Dinner was CPC! :woot:

I gave him some Bupe this afternoon, and it perked him up a bit. He was a real pest when I was eating lunch, wanting me to share (no go - Chinese food). He finally ate the remains in his dishes in desperation!

I could do without it personally.
I don't like it, either. I hate sudden, loud noises. I LOVE to watch organized fireworks displays, but having them in the hands of every yahoo in town scares the you-know-what out of me.

The knotheads in the neighborhood were especially stupid tonight and Harvey was actually scared by the noise. I was pretty close to calling the cops when they finally stopped. I'm just glad nothing burned down. Amazingly, it didn't affect Harvey's BGs.
