Happy appy, snuggly, feisty, and anti-jinxes. I'd put her appy in the mid-range of happy....I'm being greedy and want more! Fortunately the last 3 gelcaps have been without incident....hopefully the big trouble phase is behind us - anti-jinx!!!!

My kitties are getting more and more creative about how they test my sanity. Shortly after turning in last night, I heard what sounded like a scuffle. I was assuming it was Noah picking on Frankie, so I rush out to see what's what. He wasn't picking on Frankie. What seems to have happened was that he tried to jump on a padded bench but didn't quite make it; his front claws got seriously hooked in the cushion on his way down and he was completely freaking out. Poor little guy. I grabbed him to get the pressure off his toes, but I couldn't get him unhooked. It took me holding him and DH unhooking his claws to get Noah detached from the cushion. Until Noah realized we were helping him, he was kicking me like crazy. I'm just thankful we were home...I can only imagine what would have happened to his little toes if we weren't there to unhook him.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten to many condos in the last few days...I'm still trying to recover and catch up at home from the bead show last weekend. I'm starting to get there, so hopefully I can get some visiting in now.

But today is a work day, so it's time to get moving. Have a great day, L&LL!

Poor Noah. I'm glad you were home. I hope he's okay. It's nice Trixie is being a good girl for you so you don't have to worry. Sending prayes for your dad.

Morning Amy :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Looking good Trixie! Eat your fuds, take your gelcaps, and have some kitty fun. You surf well today.

oh no... poor Noah! Once in a while I've come home to cushions, fleeces or whatever down at the apposite end of the house from where they should have been. Kinda scary when you realize that they were caught, and you weren't home. So glad you were there.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Awww, I hope Noah recovered quickly from the trauma (they usually rebound faster than the beans). Perhaps a claw trim is in order? When mine start getting hooked on stuff, we take that as a sign it's time to clip (usually it's my clothing or flesh that gets hooked!).

Hope today flies by. Trixie, keep up the great work!! :D

I asked Noah this morning if he would let me clip his claws, but he wasn't answering me. Last time I tried - which was when he was a kitten - I got the quik, and I've been gun-shy every since. If he won't let me do a small trim, I may take him to the vetty for a mani-pedi. He did bounce back quickly...he was trotting around shortly after, but I think he would have ripped a claw or two out if we weren't there.

Yay for Trixie and ouch for Noah.

In his youthful indoor-outdoor days Martian broke his toe. We can't be sure, but the vet thought it was probably because a claw got caught when he was jumping off a fence.
The girls often get their claws stuck in blankets and towels.
I've never attempted a claw trim on any of them; I don't think I'd win!

A pedi at the vet sounds like a good idea, although Noah may not think so!

Nice day for Trix. Busy time for you, Amy. Hang in there!

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty
