I have to admit, I was a little shocked by this morning's AMBG :nailbiting:....we haven't seen any blue at all since Jun 21, and that was barely blue at 100. Last night for her PMBG she gave me a lovely 66, so I hope this morning's number is just some oddity. She has her happy appy, snuggles, feistiness, and anti-jinxes.

My vetty's office annoyed me this morning, too. I called to refill one of Trix's meds since I'm going to be in that area running errands today (it's not too far, but also not right around the corner, either). The tech and vet on duty won't fill the script because Trix hasn't had BW in 6 months, even though our personal vetty (who is, of course, not in today) knows Trix well and has agreed that since any and all vetty visits make her so sick that we only have to bring her in if she NEEDS to go in. I guess, though, she never noted that in Trix's file. Now I have to call our personal vetty tomorrow to discuss this, and DH will have to make a special trip out there later this week to get the meds. Ugh. The thought of taking Trix in and risking rocking the wonderful boat she's been on just for routine BW makes my stomach turn.

Anyway...I'm sure it will work out, but I'll a bit stressed until I get to speak with "our" vet.

My Dad seems to be feeling pretty good...no real major crash this time, and he's working hard to restore his circadian rhythm so I think he's also sleeping better.

Gotta get moving for those errands. Have a great day, L&LL!

Morning Amy :coffee::coffee::coffee:

It is a good start for trixie, and nice low blue. It may not be green, but it is still good. I know how one will worry anyways. Surf well today Trixie.

How annoying with the meds refill thing. Very unfortunate that the vet tech wasn't in the loop.... I bet your vet fixes that oversight. I so understand on why you don't want to rock Trixie's boat. Good luck!

Good news on your dad!

Have a great day today. :) Enjoy the day off, hope the errands go well.

That is still a good number for Trixie. I'm sure you'll see green soon. How frustrating with the vet tech. I hope your vet gets things straightened out quickly. I'm glad your dad is feeling pretty good. Sending prayers.

I hate it when my vet isn't there if I need something. If I had my way he would work 24/7 or at least be available by email. Unfortunately he's way too busy for that. I dread bringing Max to the vet for the same reason and don't know what I will do about it.

Great news about your dad and I bet Trixie will come down and it might have been a bad strip.

Trixie, what are you doing on the shore? Back to the lagoon. Just because Rusty is on duty doesn't mean you can slack off. Good news about your dad! :)

So odd seeing a blue for Miss Trixie, I agree. Wonky strip? Sorry about the vetty woes. I get the same thing when theres a new tech because I dont vaccinate anymore, and the newbies give me a hard time about it..ugh..I mean..all my kitties are over 14. They will see them for any health issues they may have, but they wont trim the nails unless they are up to date with shots. So frustrating..:banghead:. Vines for your dad Amy!:bighug:

111 is still in the range for a non-diabetic cat, so don't over worry! Trixie, tell your mamabean that a low blue is OK, but humor her and come back to the lagoon tonight!

Bummer on the meds. But rules are rules and protect both you and them.

Hugs and scritches, have a good evening, Amy. I'm glad your dad is doing ok.
