Our thoughts and prayers go to Michelle today as her sweet Elsa - kitty barista extraordinaire - crosses the bridge to join Mannie and BG.
MUCH better with a green AMBG today. Trix has her happy appy, snuggles, and feistiness on...along with anti-jinxes. She was extra feisty at gelcap time, but I managed to get it down with only one repack.
I have a call in to the vet to discuss the meds situation. I do understand why they have the policy in place of requiring BW every 6 months, but Trix's personal vetty knows how sick she gets when she goes in for even something as simple as a BP check. And, Trix is maxed out on her CKD treatments, so it's not like any changes in kidney values will change her meds. Anyway, I'm hoping she'll at least give me until October, if not till next year, on the meds...September is going to be really ugly at work and if Trix gets sick from going in it will add to my stress AND it will be hard for me to take time to care for her as I have done in the past. We'll see...she's an awesome vet but I can't help but be anxious until I have the answer.
