If you can get single cans, you might try the turkey variety. Maggie seemed to like that one even better. At least your civvie is there to take up the slack! :D

My Gizmo is funny with new food. He will sniff it and then taste it and stand there for a few seconds and then decide, ok, that's not too bad and go at it. Lol. You may have to mix with the old food for s bit to get him switched over.

I thought I might have to mix. I'm going to try a few more times and then resort to mixing if I have to. For now, I'm just trying to give him a little bit by itself each day. Then slowly increase the feedings of new.
 
+2 = 303 :banghead:

I'm beginning to wish I hadn't increased. He was seeing much better numbers on 8.5 units. :arghh: I hope some blues or greens are coming soon. Patience!
 
+3 = 291

I think I'm going to just start getting a +3 for the pm cycle. He has been consistently higher at +2 and he eats at +3, so I never really trust the +4 number.

As much as Gizmo loves food and is very food motivated ... he isn't having any of this organix crap. :banghead: He looked at his bowl, sniffed, and looked at me like what the heck. Meanwhile, Daisy was chowing down. I of course caved and gave him Friskies mixed grill, which he loves (at least no fish). Just thought of a positive ... at least I know he won't eat Daisy's food when I return to work. Maybe I will keep her on organix chicken. :oops::p

Possibly NDW, Gizmo is quite fond of that. It used to take 5-6 cycles for him to show what the dose can do, so the wait continues. He seemed to be doing so good on the last dose, so now I'm impatient with this one.
 
Thyroid test results should definitely be back tomorrow. I'm impatiently waiting for those. I guess I'm just very impatient today. :joyful: I noticed when going through Gizmo's folder that our phone number is listed wrong on the lab results we got last wed. So now I'm wondering if they did have the results on Friday. :mad: The receptionist read our number to us as we were checking out, so they should have it written down correctly somewhere. If I don't hear from them by lunch, I'm calling.
