WCR: Some Ps in place. Appy is only so-so. She got squids and Cerenia last night, but that didn't help much with her appy over night. She didn't finish her over night fuds and I'm not sure why...was it the zobaline? or she just didn't like the Turkey & Giblets. But I can say one thing...she annoyed the hell out of me last night. (yes, I still love her!) I was in bed by midnight (a first for this school year) and because she didn't like her fuds, she woke me up multiple times and now I'm exhausted. :mad: I just gave her a crumb of cypro...hope it helps.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

My civvie Zen wakes me up a bunch pretty much every night....haven't had a solid night sleep in years. It's no fun, but they are so sweet and cute so all is forgiven!

Sending tons of appy vines for Shasta...eat up, little one!

Morning Deborah :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Wow,a blue Shasta this morning. Nice! Surf well Shasta, and be sure and eat your fuds!

Bummer on the wake-ups... Been there too. Our newest kitty here, Vanessa, seems to like to do that too. For her the hour is 2AM, and she feels the need for pets and scritches, and can be so persistent... :rolleyes:

Have a great day today. Hope all goes well!

Have you tried ondansetron yet? Some do better with it while others do better with cerenia. It's also important to give the right dose. If you give too little it won't work. I learned that after thinking Max couldn't get off cyproheptadine when he was first diagnosed with pancreatitis. It turned out he needed more ondansetron.

Thanks everyone. Shasta isn't feeling well tonight. I'm not sure what's up. I gave her some Bupe tonight (.02mL), but even before the Bupe, she just seemed really out of it. She would follow me into a room and then just sit there and stare...even once I left the room...she just sat there and stared at nothing. She did eat her dinner while I was at Zumba, but now, she's not interested in much of anything.

@tiffmaxee - I tried a 1/4 tab Ondansetron last week and you may be right...she may need more. My fear right now is that there is something very neurological going on and all these meds I keep giving her are freaking me out...are they helping or hurting. :arghh: Her twitches/spasms have gotten worse over the past few weeks and tonight they are weird, especially when I watch her stare...at nothing. And she won't eat now...but no licking of the lips. I might as well give her some Ondansetron. What's the worst that will happen, right?! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

My poor girl.

Max needs half and according to the dosing guide probably closer to a whole 4 mg. he doesn't lick his lips when nauseous either. If Shasta doesn't get enough it won't help. The neurological symptoms are a concern I know. Vines.
