Good morning!
Boomer ate almost all of his +3, about 3/4 of his +6 and all of his +9 last night. I got up at 10 minutes past +9; there was a small amount left jammed up against the back of the dish and I started to pick up the dish but Boomer came running (well maybe not running lol) over to me and wanted it so I had to scoop it out for him. He does seem to have trouble getting that last little amount from the dish.

AMBG 90 :D:D:D

Today on the agenda....this Bean is going for a walk this morning with my new camera. Photography here has really sucked lately. And I've noticed a definite decrease in the number of birds around so I think they must be starting to migrate already. :(

Yay for a good appy. Happy Day 12!

I hope you have a nice walk.

Started feeling guilty about going for a walk when I have so much editing to do so I'm staying home to edit. DH has lunch with a friend on Tuesdays so he'll be gone for a couple of hours which makes it easier for me to concentrate :smuggrin::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Green is green! Happy Day 12 Boomer! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Maybe you'll get to use your new camera tomorrow, Judy. We still have a lot of birds here, but mostly they are the ones that are here all winter. Hummingbirds are mostly gone (except for migrants from further north). Of course we have the turkeys!!

Can you get Boomer to go for a walk with you? Not to photograph birds, of course, but just to move. Exercise can improve the cells being more receptive to his insulin and can lower his BGs.

YAHOO on day 12 of his trial! Almost made it there, little buddy! Keep it up!

Getting Boomer to exercise is a good idea; it's true that the only time he moves these days is to walk to his bowls to eat or to change sleeping spots:rolleyes: And I am more than a bit concerned that these high 90s are going to turn into 100s! Not sure how I'll go about it though.o_O

To make Vyktor exercise I would take him to the end of the yard (swearing all the way - him not me) and drop him off so he had to walk back himself. There was no chance he would run off or jump a fence or anything. My mum does something similar but with a lead on Purrdy. She doesn't have a big yard so she carries him up to the next corner in her village and he has to walk back.

I could try to do that but it would have to be inside; I don't want to encourage Boomer to go outside as he has snuck out a couple of times when one of us has stupidly left the screen door open....he always come back but not until the middle of the night.
