    Yesterday

Good day! Very busy day today, but I have pretty good news. The eye specialist was fantastic - it turns out she has a blocked tear duct. He attempted to unclog, but couldn't. He said a dental would be the time to unblock, but she doesn't need a dental. He said an xray, without anesthesia would be a good way to prove whether the canine tooth could be causing an abscess, but there is no evidence of that. Basically we don't do anything unless things change . . . unless she needs a dental.

Storms are brewing, lots of wind, dark sky, and I am going to pick our drooler up from the groomer. (I hate to say that, don't want to insult the dog)!

    My best to all -

I hope those storms go bye bye soon and the sun shines again for you and Ms Tina Marie:)...she is such a pretty kitty, please don't get mad if you have already answered this before but what type of kitty is she? She is just gorgeous:cat::cat:

I could never get mad at you Debra, and I haven't ever answered! She is a lavender point snowshoe, but not marked "properly". I adopted her right after hurricane Katrina in 2005. I found her online, and decided to adopt her and her brother. The actual Katrina kitties hadn't shown up at our shelters yet. Snowshoe is a cross between Siamese and a two color DSH.

No sunshine but its down in the 70s which is great! Give Yoyo lovin's from us:):cat::bighug:

Wow I did not know that showshoe is a cross between siamese and a two color DSH which I never heard of....thank you, I am learning. So Tina could actually be related to Yoyo somewhere down a very long line of breeding.....sure:rolleyes:.

I have always wanted a lavender siamese or maybe it is called a lavender point siamese, I am not sure-not educated enough on the breed, but Yo is a Blue and my other siamese who passed away last November was a seal point siamese-her name was Wontonee. I can never look at wonton soup again and not think of my little girl:arghh:...she was a wedge head siamese where Yo is an apple head. People used to stop me to look at her, she had that egyptian look to her, thin-long legs and the wedge head....miss her:(...Anyway - boy did I get off track....getting back to the lavender color, I tried two times for lavender but I somehow missed, but that's ok cause I love Yoyo to pieces and Wontonee was a special kitty too!

I have always thought a Snowshoe is a beautiful kitty and that is why Tina is just precious!!

Yo sends hugs and kisses back to Tina, (he's sleeping but I'll tell him what I wrote, he's shy) :)

LT says he's the equivalent of a Heinz-57 but his momma still loves him.

And this. Huge difference. At least our regular vet admitted he lacked confidence.

I love seeing Yoyo and Tina together, because they almost "match", so I bet they are some kind of cousins! Tina's brother was a seal point, and looked like Ming. After losing her brother, I adopted a look-alike, and it worked beautifully. The boy is her cuddle buddy.
The Egyptian look is so lovely and statuesque. I have a book of cat breeds; its amazing how many there are, meow.
