She's not real happy with me right now though....I found an entire claw on our "testing site" and was worried about where it came from so was trying to look through all 4 paws to see if one was "missing"
There isn't....they're all there, so I guess the one I found was just a full sheath she'd shed, but she sure didn't appreciate my efforts to make sure she was OK!!

When I was desperately trying to get my blood test technique down, I thought...ear isn't really working for me, let's try the paw. That went over like a fart in a space suit lol...first time EVER that he took a swat at me

Shadow would draw blood when I would try to sneak my scissors in while she slept on her tower to try and trim some foot hair off the bottom of her paws....
she had hairy wookie toes and didn't like litter getting stuck to it.....
so i had to trim it when i could.... usually got 3 snips in before she opened one eye and lashed at me....
And then we spend all that time trying to explain to them why we're doing what we're doing.....If looks could kill, I'd be dead and buried...probably in the litter box
Zeke hates us touching his paws. He never has really been one for scratching much so we have to trim his nails from time to time. The simplest method to just get it done and over with is wrapping him in a towel and leave one paw out at a time. Otherwise it looks like a war zone and we are on the loosing side lol. At least we don't have to do that much and since his DX it seems like he actually is using the tower posts more which means no trimming.
