So my husband had to go to work early today, which is why he got the +4 reading. But we weren't expecting a 100 point drop in an hour. He left an extra feeding of LC for +5 (in addition to his +6 snack). Gizmo also ate his sisters +6 snack. So he got lots of extra food today, but at least he stayed safe.

So far so good for the pm cycle. Fingers crossed that he comes down slowly and stays around 100. No visiting the sharks tonight Gizmo.

I started to created this thread over 2.5 hours ago. It has been a crazy day and evening! I'm still not sure what I read about compounding the cabergoline. I searched but couldn't find what I remember reading. Who knows ... maybe I made it up!

Yes, thanks. I did look at it. It wasn't that one. I'm thinking that it was maybe another name for sugar (but less common-so people might not think of it as being an issue). I really can't remember. I'm just going to make sure they know it is for a diabetic and hope for the best. Although, his vet actually has a compounding pharmacy, so I think they might be getting the drug compounded for me. Not sure, just really want to get started asap. I feel like we are so close, yet still waiting.
