Lowest number we've seen in a while! I'll be attempting again to get a ketone test. I didn't try at all yesterday because I was asleep the whole time. :joyful:

My work week is over!!!!!!!! Tonight was a treat: no patients! I did all my duties and finished quite early. Then sat at the computer watching YouTube videos and reading the forum. I'm ready to go home and sleep.

    Miiiiiiiiiiiiing, come down!

Despite his highs, he’s running around and playing with his toys and it’s very cute :)

Amazing! I just watched Ming fling his toy in the air and launch himself off the wall to catch it. I wonder where this sudden energy is coming from? When I first adopted him, he would chase a mouse toy tied to a string and wand and run circles around the couch. He would pant and be exhausted after playing. Since his diabetes, I haven’t been really actively playing with him like I used to. Maybe it’s time to reestablish that!

How adorable!!! Always a good idea to fling the toy around to see if they're interested in playing with it. I leave a couple hanging on the back of the dining room chairs for Luci - she attacks them - and let's me know it's play time...

Hope you'll start to see some better numbers now that Pred is off the menu :)

Yes I need to do more flinging!

Ming has TONS of toys. It’s embarrassing. There’s probably toys in every corner of the house. He carries them around. There’s one toy which has zero stuffing and one of the eye balls is about to fall off. But we keep it because it’s one of his faves.

One more dose of pred and we’re done (hopefully)!

Ming is gorgeous! It's great he's wanting to play!

Reply to question from yesterday (since I'm not smart enough to "reply" to a previous days post):
The Okocat itself just smells like fresh cut lumber, not a strong scent at all, it controls odor very well though.

    +4 = 166 on the OneDrop though.

I used up all the strips in the pouch for the OneTouch so I guess I’ll switch to OneDrop now. Haha! I still have an extra 50 strips for the onetouch so I’ll save that for low numbers.

    +6 = 113 on OneDrop

I’ll fix my SS tomorrow to indicate the change in meter.
