I too thought you couldn't find her the night before last because she was at the full moon party.
Can Gizmo not get under the bed?

Gizmo can get under the bed. I think he knows better. The guest bed (my old bed) is like a cave so it's a cat "friendly" place. I just find it amusing that she wants to hang out upstairs given that she never saw a flight of stairs until I moved into this place. It's only problematic in that Gabby doesn't always come when I call her even if I tell her there's food involved. Getting her out from under the bed is laborious so I'd like to get her out of the habit of hanging out upstairs. If she wanted to lounge on the bed, that would be a somewhat different story.
 
Amazes me how they frequently change their habits. Coral and Joy can open the kitchen cabinet doors, they crawl in for a little nap. Always something entertaining! Best wishes and Meow, Kathe and Coral

Maybe you can put something under the bed so that Gabby can't hide there. Trundle drawers, for example.
Interesting problem! Rusty enjoys opening closet doors and jumping in (our closets are really full of junk!).

I know the dilemma of keeping them out from under the bed.
I filled the middle space with hand made boxes all taped together so that Shadow could only get under the edge.
You could just fill it up so there is no space... like a hotel.
Then maybe she'd lay on the bed instead.
 
But there are monsters under the bed! Gabby is very brave. Maybe she is trying to hunt the monsters to protect her bean? :joyful:
 
I have so much stuff stored under our guest bed that even Sasha can't get all the way under it - but she tries!

Another day of great numbers. Planning a PJ party tonight, Gabby?
 
what? you don't want to run up and down the stairs, pull the bed away from the wall, fish Gabby out with a broom every time you want to test her? ;) Seems like it could replace a gym membership! :D
