Yesterday's condo

Tandem diving on Thursday night, synchronized bouncing on Friday - and who knows what today will bring. I have to admit though that I was glad that neither one of my boys seemed to be coming down last night and that I was able to get caught up on my sleep. Busy day at work yesterday with back-to-back meetings and by the time I finally made it home, I was too exhausted to even consider another all-nighter.

Today is Flora's third day on Panacur and it seems like her diarrhea is starting to get a bit better. She is not nearly going as much anymore and is visibly happier now that she isn't spending half the day in the litter box. I sure hope that this really was the cause of her issues. What concerns me a little bit is that one of the things the vet noted on her records is that her intestines are thickened (in addition to the fact that her belly was distended). Not sure if Giardia can cause that...

I'm so glad Flora is feeling better. I would wonder if an extended case of giardia could cause inflammation that could appear as thickened intestines. Prayers that all will be well with the little one soon!

I'm going with gas...constant diarrhea can sure cause distention in my opinion. Glad to hear she's getting better with the meds. I so agree on happy for a bounce/ higher numbers last night and hope you feel rested today. Boys, head on down but slowly like nice graceful kitties. How did the adoption papers for little Ivy turn out

Since I have to treat everyone for Giardia, she is currently on medical hold and won't be going anywhere for the next two weeks. Can't say that I am too heartbroken that I get to keep her a little longer. ...and I haven't heard back from the person that applied - so I would assume that she has changed her mind.

I guess they are continuing with their synchronized trampoline routine for today. Not happy with those numbers, but it's been nice to be able to run errands without worrying about anyone dropping too low. Already made it to the Farmer's Market and the bank, took two of my dogs for a walk, and I am meeting a friend at our River walk in a bit. Rumor has it that the mosquitoes aren't horrible out there...

Like Amy said, I wonder if the "thickened" intestines are due to inflammation. Hope that's all it is. Paws crossed the Panacur gets everything under control for little Flora.
