Hello!!!!!!!!It has been way, WAY too long, and I have no excuse for myself!! I can only tell you that I always keep you all in my thoughts and send good vibes every day.
Billie is doing really well!! She says she misses you, and that she has the worst bean ever for taking so long between posts. Really, I'm amazed at how healthy and happy she is, and I have all of you to thank for that. Her BGs have been surprisingly good lately. I've barely seen a spot of pink in the past month or so. She has been starting yellow, hanging blue or green, and bouncing back to yellow. I definitely can't complain about that, especially considering how bouncy and rainbow hued she has been in the past. *antijinx*
Her appetite has been good, and her most recent bloodwork a couple months ago looked excellent. We had a lump scare at the beginning of the summer, but it turned out to be benign. I threw her a party to celebrate, with a "Congratulations" balloon and a fresh cut of sea bass just for her. I'm so thankful that she's doing so well. She still seems to like my DBF better than me, which I think was the subject of my last post, but he loves her too so it's all good. She still takes her inhaler BID for her asthma, but it is very well-controlled. She still loves playing with plastic milk gallon seals, despite all the cat toys she owns. Lately, she has been arranging them in interesting patterns around the apartment in the middle of the night
Brooklyn is also doing well! She has been having a great summer...the occasional moth gets inside the apartment, and she loves any opportunity to hunt. She is due for a vetty checkup soon, if she'll allow it, but she seems very happy and healthy too.
