WCR: Most Ps in place. We have pees and poop (which have been fairly consistent), small purrs and preening (I don't always catch this). Play hasn't been on the table in quite some time. However, I consider a few actions she does to be her new "play"...when she jumps up on the bathroom counter and begs for pets, I call that sweet play; also, she has one of those scratcher arches and she'll go rub all over it while talking to me and begging for attention.

I can't tell if she's feeling great today, but she did a pretty good job with her breffis. I have not given her any Cerenia today. Just curious how she'll do today without it. She's relatively chatty and cute this morning. She'll get squids later on today. In yesterday's condo, I mentioned that Shasta was a bit slobbery (especially when she wakes from a deep sleep or I'm scritching/rubbing her face). Well, she's also really itching in her ears and under her chin/chest area. If I start rubbing her ears, she leans into my fingers to the point where I'm almost digging into her ear canals (I don't actually dig...but she really wants a deeper rub.) When I scratch her neck area, she pulls the "dog reaction" where she stretches out her neck and sometimes gets her back foot scratching. All of this makes me wonder about her allergies/sinuses. Poor thing is giving me stank eye right now...she's knows I'm talking about her.

OT: A teaching friend posted that the South Area Animal Care facility was in need of towels and blankets. So, I'm going to run to school and gather up a few trash bags of supplies from my SPCA hoard and run that out to them.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Sounds like she is feeling better today. I know very little about allergies, but that could be another thing to chat with the vet about...I think Tricia uses some human meds for kitty allergies, but don't quote me on that. But maybe there is something that could help her feel better allergy-wise. Yay for most Ps! Have a great day, Deborah!

Tricia uses Zyrtec for one of her cats who has allergies. Cyproheptadine is also an allergy medication. Both have the side effect of increasing appy if a cat gets that side effect.

I'm glad Shasta is feeling better. Enjoy your day off.
