Happy appy, snuggly, feisty, spunky, cute as can be, and anti-jinxes. Small gelcap challenges, but nothing major - HUGE anti-jinx.
My Dad's visit was a mixed bag yesterday. His CT scan did show some new activity in the peritoneal but not attached to any organs, although the original tumor is still stable. We'll be going to see the Penn doctor as soon as he can get the appointment (which hopefully will before the Pope's visit to Philly!) for a new protocol. We skipped chemo yesterday because the doc thought it wasn't doing much of anything anyway. Hopefully the new plan will be in place within 2 weeks. The local oncologist did feel that despite this report, it is not time to stop treatment, because my Dad is doing so well (no real symptoms other than chemo fatigue) and is so active, and because he does respond so well to treatment. The current protocol was just a bit too "mild" so we'll have to step it up a bit.
Petey's appy is improving, although it's still not quite where I like it. We did take him in for a once-over last night, even though I really probably could have cancelled. He was passed due for his senior BW anyway, and I wanted him looked at for my own peace of mind. He did have that cold last week, too, so maybe the cold in combination with the upset tummy hairball thing is what's got him a bit off.
It's time to get moving. I was so stressed I just couldn't face the computer yesterday, but hopefully I can do some catching up today, although it is a work day.
Have a great day, L&LL!
