hello everyone,my name is kim and im new to this site..i will try and make this as short as possible:i love cats,i have 8,they are all rescues, they have their shots and are fixed,VERY spoiled with love and treats.they are allowed inside or outside, some only go outside when im home bc of their age.i was in my vets office getting meds for a cat that had some allergies when they showed me this lil kitten they were about to euthanize bc it had already been there 3days  ..so,obviously,i brought it home ;-) well, she has been sickly from week 1(they didnt tell me all that)nothing that i thought was too serious, though!!her first trip to the vet,PRECIOUS got some antibiotics and eye cream for an upper resp,infection..(very expensive) her next trip was for a cyst that suddenly appeared and had to be lanced and given antibiotics with a syringe(even more expensive)..she also had to go back a second and third time for the same thing(i think this vet gave me this kitten knowing he was about to make some mula) well, precious is the cutest lil sweetest lil kitten(furball)i've ever seen..and i've rescued many animals :!: Since all this has happened my child(my human child)had gotten sick and ended up having hip surgery which has financially put us in a bind, many many trips out of town to see his specialist-he's only 14 btw...On saturday a friend stopped by to see precious and while she was here precious had some kind of episode, resembled a seizure    i didnt know WHAT TO DO bc id NEVER seen this before,EVER!!thankfully my friend is a fast thinker and gave sweet precious some sugar water and it stopped immediately??since and even a little before this she is not playful, low energy and just not quite right-my newest kitten plays non-stop-and i soooooooo wish that precious would do the same..i got on my computer this morning looking for groups that may help me...our bank account has dwindled down to only a few dollars-just enough to keep it open and its right here at christmas too!!(Merry Christmas and Happy New Year To Anyone Reading This)I am very aware that precious needs attention from the vet, possibly a NEW VET??Does anyone know anybody, organizations, vet clubs, ets that will help fund a vet trip and meds for precious??if so,plz contact me..i live in alabama and my number is(yes im even giving out my phone number-hope thats ok)1-334-232-4817 and they can leave a message...Please help me to help precious nailbite_smile thanks so much for your time,KIM and PRECIOUS confused_cat

Use Google to search for grants and aid with unanticipated vet bills; there are a few.

If your cat is diabetic, you're in the right place. We know quite a bit about caring for a diabetic cat.

First - good nutrition. Start by reading Cat Info to understand the importance of good nutrition in maintaining your cat's health.

(Wow. Its really hard to read run on sentences. Could you maybe edit your post and put in some hard returns to make paragraphs?)
