i only ask because i just happened to start it at the same time we are having a very bouncy phase. Its probably coincidence. but when i research pumpkin it says it has a high glycemic index, though strangely enough it is good for diabetic mgmt in humans.

Anyone seem to get higher bg when kitty is on pumpkin? Thanks

For what it's worth I saw no adverse impact from pumpkin on Saoirse's BG levels, Jen (8 meals a day, all with 1/4 tsp pumpkin added).

    Pumpkin is mostly fiber

To get enough carbs to effect the blood glucose, they'd have to eat a LOT of it

A cup of plain pumpkin is only 8g of carbs....but what cat is going to eat a whole cup full either?;)
