Baby started Insulin today!

    Fantastic!

    Saw your mention of her sore ears. You can buy Neosporin (with or without the pain reliever) and put a dab on the spot where you poked. Also, hold on to the spot a moment after you get the sample, to help with the bruising.

    Question...if I get Insulin to the .5 mark on syringe - how much am I giving her?

    Well if you just fill the syringe and don't inject the cat you have given her NOTHING :lol: Ok that was just a little humor.

    Here is the picture of the syringe filled just a little abouve the .5U mark, If you fill the syringe to this mark you would be giving .5 units or a half-unit of Lantus insulin.
