Babywatch 2015

Good evening all!!!

We are officially on Babywatch over here! Miss Stephanie will arrive, at the latest, on Thursday! I can't believe it! It's crazy. I've actually been having contractions for about 3 weeks, but no real progress. Not unlike what I went through with Matty. It's very frustrating. At least this time I didn't run to the hospital every time.

As I recall, there are a lot of aunties out there who have volunteered to babysit. Don't worry...my pregnancy brain didn't forget that!

I've been dipping in and out, and keeping track of everyone's progress. Marilyn and @pollydoodle and @suki & crystal, you are all doing so great. So encouraging to see!

Anyway, just wanted to give a short update! I haven't forgotten about you. Who could forget my LL family?!?! I'll post pictures of the newest member when she arrives!!

I hope all those early contractions mean you'll have a short and easy (if there is such a thing) labor and delivery. OK, Stephanie, time to come meet the aunties!

Great to hear from you Suzanne and get the update. Better than going back to school this fall. Sending vines that Stephanie takes it easy on you.

Matty was our first baby bean....at least since I've been here...Now we have Stephanie on the way (with a built-in big brother!)

 

I hope you can tell the difference between the early contractions and the she's really on the way contractions or it might be a home birth for you! Good luck with the delivery, here's hoping she's got a nice little oval shaped head

 

Oh, goody! I've been wondering what Ms. Stephanie's status was and how it all was going! So glad you let us know. Piling on more easy labor vines. Can't wait to see her!

Exciting. Think about you often so thrilled to see the update. Like the others, I wish an easy labor, delivery and an "easy" baby once she's home!

You know, we need pictures of the baby, of course, but it would be great to see a snap of Matty, too. Wow, a big brother. Cool.

We have a new baby bean!!

Stephanie Caroline was born at 12:27pm today ....weighed in at a very healthy 8lbs and 20" long

Congratulations Suzanne and Matt...and Matty has a new baby sister!!!

After seeing all the things related to poor birth outcomes in my job, its nice to hear of a healthy-sized baby!

 

@Suzanne & Cobb(GA) ....Didn't want to post all of them because I didn't want to "take over" the news, but knew there were lots of LL aunties waiting for the news!!

She's absolutely adorable....hope the labor/delivery went quickly and easily!

@Chris & China I figured that. And I appreciate you sharing! You picked the two I had planned to post! Great minds!

Delivery went well. She was a scheduled c-section. We were right on time, which was nice because I hadn't eaten in about 12 hours. She came out crying. I'm in a bit of pain but I'm told it'll be better once I get up and move. I don't believe them, but that's what this little button of goodness is for, right?!?!

 

Definitely don't be a hero...stay as long as you can and press that button as often as it'll let you!! Sleep as much as possible....it's going to be awhile before you get to do any meaningful sleep again
