Benefits of Goat's milk?

I read about goat's milk being good for cats a while ago over on the L&L forum but really can't remember who posted it and in what context the benefits were, perhaps for appy or constipation? I've finally found some, at least it's the best I can find here in France, it's not liquid milk, just 100% pasteurised goat's milk but with lactic ferments and rennet. It's very much like the consistency of natural yoguart and comes in little pots.

Does anyone have any thoughts/comments as to its benefits/use. I gave Crystal a teaspoon earlier and she licked it up with relish. Thanks.

@BJM, thanks so much for taking the time to research it, interesting reading and it looks like the raw milk is better than the pasteurized version I bought. Considering the amount of goats cheese France produces, I thought it would be easier to source the milk. We have a bio shop in town, next time I'm in, I'll see if they stock it.
