hi. Where is the best place to prick the ear? Sometimes I get nothing even tho I’ve warmed it and have to prick a couple times. Tonight I couldn’t stop his ear bleeding for ages. A good five mins before I got it to stop bleeding. Any suggestions? Advice?

Sound like you may have hit the vein. You want to be between the vein and the edge.

Applying firm pressure using thumb and index fingertip for 15 to 30 seconds on the bleeding spot helps to stop it.

No....it hurts more and bleeds too much. Just get the outer edge. 021DFA6A-D2DB-4D0A-823D-DF4AFB0E29E0.png

In the future, if you do happen to hit it, holding an ice pack against it while applying pressure will help stop the bleeding

Just make sure you're not holding the ice pack directly against the skin....you don't want to freeze it! Put a washcloth or towel between the ice pack and the ear
