Is there any way to prevent bouncing? Or does it just take a while for the cat to get used to lower numbers?

It seems that every time Missy gets good numbers she shoots straight up into the 300s. It seems it’ll be really difficult to get her regulated if her body freaks out every time she hits blues and greens :(

It can take a long time ….and sometimes it never stops! We have had cats here that bounced all the way to OTJ.

They are a frustrating but normal part of the sugardance…..the best thing you can do is just keep getting those good numbers and hope that her body re-learns that it's OK to be there and the bounces won't be as high and won't last as long. That's what usually happens.

Catcat's still bouncing after 5 months ... not as high, not as prolonged -- some cats' systems just seem to be touchy
