I increased my Callie's insulin to 2 units every 12 hours on Wednesday. I have noticed that her breathing has changed. Normally she is a very shallow breather but now you can see her breathing. I'm not sure if this is because of our weather this ( very muggy) or something else or am I just a nervous Nellie.

Lisa, where are you located? Do you have air conditioning?

Smokey has asthma also and this weather is really bothersome for him. He has been hanging out in the room were the window unit is.

Once I'm up and can turn the other unit on, he comes out and it's easier for him. He is comfortable, I'm freezing.

I have the window unit on but I changed it a few degrees. It doesn't seem as bad. Thank you I'm new at all of this and I think my nerves are getting the best of me. It's like having a new baby at home.

If it helps then it could be the weather. It's something you will have to watch. This heavy muggy air makes it difficult for me.
