Happy New Year L, B, & L ~

Bubba's ears seem to be getting better. I used the Zymox for 3 weeks and now I am following up with 1 drop of garlic olive oil in each ear for 2 weeks as per my homeopath. His skin on his head and neck are all scabbed over with minimal itching. The skin is restored to normal color. I am still persistent with putting calendula on him and Cloud Nine salve.

His two new proteins of egg and cod fish are working out well so far. He has to consume a lot more of each to get his needed calories a day. The cod fish luckily is cheaper frozen at Walmart super stores than the grocery stores. I rotate those with turkey. Forrest does not like cod fish. Rebel.

@Beenie (GA) from the last thread, yes, the vet RX AB for his ears because of the scratching and skin infection. He was on 1 week round and then they RX another 2 weeks. I gave him one more week and he was actually getting worse so I stopped the AB. AB's can CAUSE yeast infections I learned from some research I did. I decided to treat the skin topically instead of systemically with AB's to further mess up his good bacteria. Some good reads were on Healthypets.mercola.com Dr. Becker.

Can you help with my SS ? I have the 2019 date at the bottom When I move it to the left It goes to the new 2019 SS But the next time I click on the SS it goes back to the 2018 SS?

Not sure what to do?

Did you relink the ss into your signature? You need to do that.
 
Happy New Year Bobbie! I am happy to hear Bubba's ears are getting better. I hope that means he is spending less time in the basement.

No, you shouldn’t have to do that. I never did that with Gracie’s SS. Same link from the day I started until I made the new SS and then it was the same. I never relinked it.

Let me look at it Joy but let’s not hijack Bubba’s condo. If you need SS help in the future, just PM me.

Glad Bubba's ears are doing better! My dog got a LOT of relief from Zymox with an ear issue. I work for a regular veterinarian, but there's some things I find my holistic vet has better (and sometimes a bit safer) remedies for! Happy New Year!
 
So glad Bubba's ears are healing. On days that I have done lots of extra testing (and Buddy's ear look butchered) I now think about poor Bubba and worry that will by Buddy's fate next. Some days, just the slightest prick and I get a wonderful drop. Other days, I prick three times and can't get anything. You would think by now, I would at least have that part mastered. :arghh::arghh:
 
So glad Bubba's ears are getting better. You have been dealing with this for such a long time. Sounds like it got resolved without the use of the collar. That's great!
