This is my beautiful boy Simba!
Firstly... is the picture horned paws? He has it on every single pad! Also can I clip these off?

They don’t bother him at all, but I have never seen this before and I have 5 cats!

    Thanks! Sarah

My Erik has horned paws and I do cut them off. I use his nail cutter to do it and I don’t get too close to the paw. It will grow back, though.

Ahhh thank you, are they as big/bad as Simba’s? Do you use nail clippers?

No, they are not that long. I took him to the vet when I first noticed them, not knowing what they were. She just cut them off. I was afraid to do it for a while, thinking it might hurt him or bleed, but it didn’t hurt him. If you are sure they are horned paws, then clip them off. Maybe just do a tip of one to start?
