can't seem to find info. online. anyone know a link that explains why canned food carbs and dry food carbs, even when same percentage, affect cat's BG so differently?? am just dumbfounded at how low tux's BG has gotten on same insulin amount since switching to free-feeding wet food only a couple days ago instead of letting him graze on the dry. maybe less calories at a time is why?? he is still allowed 1 tbsp of 5% carb dry as a treat (or in this case to up his BG some the last 2 days) and i was suprise it up his BG like 25 points in not even 20mins when the wet food 7% carb doesn't make it go up at all afterwards..
