Cat diagnosed with Diabetes a week ago

Hello, my cat is a 13 yr old male who was just diagnosed with diabetes a week ago. I don't know what to about getting him the insulin, because i don't have time to give it 2x a day.. I had 3 cats, i had to euthanize him because he had cancer that grew drastically within 3 months of finding out.
This is emotionally draining..i need help..

Sometimes, a change in diet can lower the blood glucose to a point of remission, with insulin support for a shorter time. What are you feeding your cat?
