Correlation between blood and urine ketone levels (study)

    I found a human study today that worked to chart the similarities and correlation between blood ketone levels and urine ketone levels. While it is a lot of scientific jargon, i was able to pull a few things from it. There is a similarity in values when graphed, as long as there is no kidney issues that may complicate the urine values.

    This person also evaluates the findings of other scientists that cite no correlation between blood and urine values.

    I don't know how to translate the blood values they give into mmol, but my guess is once the blood value gets closer to more elevated than 'trace', then the values will probably start to mimic the urine values found on the ketostixs. Food for thought!
