After having bought and administered Dasuquin to Tom, I JUST found out that soy is not good for cats!

Now why would that be an ingredient in a cat supplement! Makes me so mad.....but anyway

I do know that a lot of members give Dasuquin, so that makes me wonder...

Is the soy within the powder a "non-harmful" type of soy? if that makes any sense?

So the question is: should I be concerned and discontinue?

Thanks all for your input! and knowledge...

The product may have been created without checking or
it was assumed it was fine or
there may not be consensus in the veterinary community that it is harmful or
the amount is so small the effects would be negligible.

FWIW, I have been using Dasuquin with my kitty for about 2 months now with no issues. Doesn't mean it's successful for every cat, but it's working for us. You could always try Cosequin if you're concerned. Many members here use that and it seems to work quite well.
