Determining carb %? Is this correct formula I was given? Thanks!

    Regarding your question about our carbs content for wet food please find attached our ingredients panel/ guaranteed analysis of all our wet food products:

    To calculate the carb content please do the following subtraction :

    Carbs = 100 - crude protein- crude fat - crude fiber - moisture - ash

    Example for our duck and cantaloupe pumpkin CAT:

    100- 78 - 12,5 - 4,5 - 1 - 2,5 = 1.5% carbs

    The duck and cantaloupe pumpkin contains 1.5 % carbs

    Unfortunately no, that only gives you the carb percentage by weight and we use the percent calories from carbs. The best and most accurate is to have the actual as fed numbers, not the guaranteed analysis and use this calculation
