my cat has been in remission and on a balanced raw food diet [dr Pierson / ann jablonsky] since the beginning of the year. He has always been a 'hungry' cat but for a short time after transitioning to the raw diet he stopped being a 'beggar'.
For the past few weeks he's started tripping me up for food again and hanging around begging.
He is fed 3 x day +- 110g/day and his optimal weight is around 6.8 kgs which is about what he is now. He is an indoor cat, in very good condition - shiny, thick coat; perfect BM's; no health issues that i am aware of.
If i feed him more he will gain weight and possibly have a FD flare up so i cannot risk that.
Any suggestions as i feel really bad that he is hungry all the time?

Do you weigh him regularly? And was that the vet's ideal weight for him?

What were the actual test results for the thyroid? If he is an older cat, things can change within 6 months; its why vets often ask you to bring them in every 6 monthw..
