Ziggy is a 5 year old neutered male cat; he is black with a splash of white on his chest. Upon finding out that he was diabetic, his former owner wanted to euthenize him. Luckily, the doctor of our practice convinced her to sign him over to us instead. He is super sweet and as far as I can tell he likes other cats (our office cat is not friendly but Ziggy tries so hard to befriend her!), and tolerates dogs well enough. He is super sweet and, aside from the diabetes, super healthy. He receives 5 units of humulin N twice a day and has been regulating well with that dose. He is super easy to give insulin to and draw blood from as well. Does anyone have room in their heart (or knows someone who may) for Ziggy? He loves the hospital but needs to find his forever home. Our hospital is located in Audubon, NJ. Contact me here for more info/pics.
