WARNING VIDEO IN THIS ARTICLE COULD BE DISTURBING TO SOME PEOPLE

This article contains a VERY disturbing video on diabetic neuropathy in kitties. It shows a kitty with not only back leg weakness but also front leg weakness...very hard to view so be pre-warned.

I am posting this since people may not realize that the front legs can also be affected and that the condition can be painful according to the article. Since pain is something that can affect glucose levels this needs to be taken into consideration

"Anecdotal evidence suggests that this condition is painful in cats, based on pain perception associated with diabetic neuropathy in human patients."
