? Does anyone use silica supplement?

    Hello,
    I'm wondering if anyone has used or is using silica supplement for their diabetic cat? Some research say it is beneficial. And how do you feed it to your cat? It is said that it should be added to drinking water, but I have 2 cats and 4 drinking places. Pet shop's assistant advised to add it to food.

    Based on the links provided I see nothing that supports that oral silica (sand) helps diabetes
