? Dose Reduction for AM Shot?

    @Kris & Teasel @JanetNJ We usually give Victor his shots at 10:00 AM/PM and I always like to do a test at +2 afterwards (12:00 PM) just to have an idea of where his numbers are at before nadir, but I have a doctors appointment at 11 AM and I'm not sure I'll be back in time to do the test at +2, so I really don't feel comfortable giving his full dose when I might not be here to do that test, so would reducing his dose be the best thing to do? And what should we reduce it to?

    In my opinion you could give 3.5 u safely. He gave you a nice blue with room to spare yesterday. You can test him as soon as you're back from your appointment.

    You'll get used to dosing with some "unknowns" in the equation. The SS patterns will help you but there's no substitute for trying something that's a calculated "risk" (but not really a risk!) to see what happens. :bighug:
