Dry foods make cats fat.

    We all have seen evidence that dry food is not good for diabetic kitties, and some of us believe it may even be a contributing cause of diabetes. But there's no literature to that effect, so it won't wash when talking to vets.

    Here's something that I think might be good evidence that obesity in cats is directly linked to dry food. That's not the same as diabetes, but it's a good start.

    In these pictures of my own boys, note that at NO time were any cats on portion control. All feeding was free-feeding, even of the diabetic boy.
