I know this is more of a kidney question, but just wondering if anyone has used epakitin as a phos binder with their FD/CKD cat? Oreo has been lukewarm about all of the low carb/low phos foods I've tried and my main goal is to keep her eating...even if that's with a higher phos food. Just looking for opinions from anyone who's used this supplement. Thanks!

Yes, I have used it. Most will start w/ aluminum hydroxide first. Check thrivingpets.com. If your order is large enough, use code "tanya" for a discount.

Anyone dealing w/ CKD should have felinecrf.org bookmarked. Also known as Tanya's site, there is a TON of good info incl detail re binders.

Did you have any specific questions?
