You can use this online calculator to determine dry matter carbs by plugging in the GA numbers from the label. When I put in the numbers from your post, I came up with 12% dry matter carbs. A tad high for every day use for diabetics but a good medium carb use to steer a curve. It's hard to get away from guar gum. Seems every canned food I've check always includes it.

No it's not the same food, apparently FF Naturals is a new food line and not on the market yet, it'll be out around April-May. It's supposed to be all natural pate style food like their Classic line but without all the fillers and other fake stuff.

Am looking forward to hearing more about this new FF product when it comes out. I believe guar gum is a texturizer, and is added to cheaper ice creams so they don't lose their texture when they get warm. Thus, a scoop of ice cream is still round when it's pretty warm, and doesn't turn into a liquid. M'row likes FF Classic a lot; if asked, he might even say being diabetic is worth it because he gets FFC instead of dry food, although he gets shot and bled for it!
