Food and Protein

I've read around all over the food pages and such but can't seem to find what level of protein I am looking for when trying to find a soft food. I was under the assumption (and now I realize I have no idea where I got it from) it needed to be in the 50s... but I see Friskies and Fancy Fiests are in the 30s.

I know carbs lower than 10...

She suggests, "start with protein minimum of 40, fat maximum of 50, carb max of 10, and for cats with kidney issues....phos less than 300".

Just remember that with a diabetic cat you need to focus on having 10% carbs or less once that is taken into account if his kidneys are OK go for as high protein as you can
