My vet said it was safe to use, since it is sealed, but I wondered if others here use it 2 years past expiration dates? I sprinkle on my cancer survivor Woodee's wet food, but he doesn't seem to want to eat much in the way of wet anyway.

Thanks for any input or ideas.

    Most 'expiration' dates are meaningless.

    I would use it.

Thanks, Karen. :) Although, one drug or class of drugs are definitely dangerous to use past expiration. They are the Tetracyclines, or Doxycycline, etc. One year, and you have to toss those. They become 'toxic'.

Otherwise, like you say, most expiration dates are probably meaningless. I just like to run these things by the vet or my own doctor when using 'old' medicines.

    :)
