Fourth of July distraction for pets

    just wanted to tell those who hadn't thought of it to keep pets inside tomorrow.

    and leave the tv on or play music all day or night.... especially if you aren't home....to help whitewash the popping noises that scare our furbabies..... it really does help......

    I see way too many dogs running away on the 4th.... running in fear down the street.....
    kitties too...
    lots of lost animals and preventable happenings on the 4th and on new years....

    I grin when I read that 'radio' suggestion. Our 3 biggest dogs which are kenneled in our garage, aren't used to noise all the time. When I've put a radio out there, they've think it's a visitor and barked at it the whole time it's on.
