Well, after a day of no insulin yesterday, Frankie's AMPS was 20.9 (376). He is eating now too, not like he usually does, but enough, so I gave him his new reduced dose. Paws crossed his appetite holds and so does the reduction!!

That's not a bad start for no insulin yesterday. I hope he keeps sliding down today.

At +5 he's down to 16.8 (302) and ate better too.

PMPS Frankie is 3.9 (70). Even after having no insulin yesterday and a reduction. What is going on??? I'm stalling. If he goes up in 20 minutes should I give the whole 2.5 units or decrease?

At retest he was 4.4 (79) so I am feeding and giving full dose.

Please monitor closely. If it were me, I'd be getting a +1 and +2 and probably a few more tests thereafter.

I guess he just told me what to do. +5 he's 2.8 (50). Reduction tomorrow morning.
