Well, Frankie has done it again. This morning at AMPS, he was 2.7 (49) on Alpha Trak. I therefore did not shoot. I am going to again wait until midday and then shoot him at 18 hour intervals to get him back on schedule. The question is, do I reduce yet again?

    Reduce again.

Have you given Frankie any high carb gravy or honey/glucose/syrup. 2.7 is WAY low on an Alphatrak. Test every 20 to 30 mins till you get two rising numbers not influenced by food. (Sorry if I'm teaching granny to suck eggs here ... )

Yes, he's just eaten with gusto. Funny thing is , he never asks for food. He just sits by his food bowl patiently. He usually rises with normal food this late in the cycle, so I have tried that first. He is a greedy guts so I know if I have to I can give him more.

If he keeps to his usual pattern, by 1pm he should be under 15. (270). I take it that will be ok to shoot his reduced 3.75 dose?
