Hello; my 17 year old cat was just diagnosed with diabetes a month ago. We've been doing weekly glucose checks since starting the insulin a month ago and her numbers have been erratic. Is this normal till stabilized?? and if so, how long does it take to stabilize??

Welcome! Weekly glucose checks are not enough to be able to determine what is going on. Are you doing any home testing yet? Home testing is very important and would give you the information you need to figure out how best to treat your baby. This is the introduction forum. Please go over to the Main Health Forum and post any specific questions you have. It would be helpful if you would set up a signature that tells everyone some basic info like date of diagnosis, type of insulin, etc.

it takes a while sometimes. There are a lot of factors that go into it... insulin dose, food being fed, how long after the shot youre testing. Can you be more specific about what's happening?
